AppleWorks Warm Up 1b:Test test

If you are new, please wait patiently--or ask a neighbor how to launch AppleWorks! After roll is taken, I'll field questions!

STEP ONE: Launch AppleWorks and create a new PAINTING file (File: New: Painting).

STEP TWO: Create the following:

*Use the Text Tool to write your first name, near the top of the page.
SIZE: 48 POINT.
COLOR: Try to make every letter a DIFFERENT color!
FONT: Choose an interesting font (type face). Remember that the TEXT controls are at the top of your screen.

*Use the Freehand tool to draw an interesting shape. The shape should be filled with a gradient that YOU create.

*Use the Lasso to select your shape. DUPLICATE it (Command+D). Move your duplicated shape below the original. It's OK if they touch!

*Use the Magic Wand to REMOVE the gradient from the duplicated shape. Recolor it using the Drop Bucket (any color).

*SAVE your file properly in your Warm Ups folder, in DOCUMENTS as YLNI WU1b.

File: SAVE AS> Your Last Name and Intials, space, WU1b.
