Good morning, Computer Gurus:

I'm really wishing I was with you today. The "bug" that's going around got me. Hope to be in tomorrow.

Portfolios are due today, as planned!

Today in class, do the right thing, and good things will come to you!

A lot is at stake today!
Today in class, work quietly in your own seat. Please be kind to Mr. Pernell, your substitute teacher.
Remember that Mr. Pernell does not know you, or how we operate. Keep it very, very low key. He will be giving me a report on how things go today. You should expect that this could positively or negatively impact the overall grade for this quarter. If you are working quietly, and keeping talking to a minimum, you should be fine.

Just do the right thing. I know what you've done all nine weeks. I know if you've been on task, come to class, been a happy camper and done what you needed to do.

In class today:

1) Go to your Photos Page in the Ning, click on My ALBUMS and find the portfolio that you are turning in for second quarter. Click on it, so that all the slides show. Take a screen shot (COMMAND SHIFT 4) and drag the crosshairs around your album. Send this screenshot to me in an email by the end of the period, to ensure that I am "seeing" all your work. Be sure to use your pgcps gmail. (Note: If you need more than one shot, to get everything in, attach two files!) EXAMPLE BELOW (I used my AIDA slideshow...)

2) Log off the computer well before the deadline. Do this for yourself (so you don't lose points) and for others, who are depending upon you logging out so that they can get THEIR work done!

3) Do not come to Room 020 for any extra time today (Exception: Glady's may join us period 2, a usual).

4) Please read the information on color emphasis. We will not be doing the journal assignment, however I would like you to search online and find another example of color emphasis. Find the Forum item "Color Emphasis" and upload it. Provide an explanation of what color and where the emphasis occurs. Due by the end of class today (grace period until midnight applies). If you don't get it done in class, it is homework.

Hope to see you Friday!

Ms. C.
