PHOTOSHOP EXERCISE:
1. Find an animal photo at the bottom of the page that you
would like to use! Drag it to the desktop and use the FILE: OPEN command to
open it into Photoshop.
2. Imagine what the animals are saying or thinking!
3.Go to the Custom Shape Tool, and choose a Talk Bubble shape
(shown right). If you've forgotten how to use Shapes, review the exercise
you earlier. (Here's a link to that exercise: Shapes
Exercise).
4. Choose a color in the menu bar for your bubble. Create
a talk bubble and position it where it won't interfere with the photo. You
can scale it, or flip it by going to Edit: Transform: Scale (or flip).
5. Add Layer Styles (bottom of the Layer Window) to put a
stroke of a contrasting color around your bubble, AND to add a drop shadow!
6. Now it's time to add your text! (Try a font called "Comic Sans"...or any font that you like!) Be sure that your text fits in the bubble without touching the outside edge of the bubble. If you have more than one animal, you may want more than one talk bubble!
HINT:Your bubble should not be placed so that it overlaps outside of the photograph! Place it so that it fits inside the photo in a place that won't be awkward! It also must fit inside the photo without touching the edges of the photo! The first ten people in each class on Mar. 7, to email me using your pgcps email will get ten extra points added to your grade. Send an email with your name, period and "more extra credit" in the subject line.

For those who want more:
Try making your own custom made talk bubble by drawing it with the lasso or polygonal lasso. Stroke it and fill it with color!
