REQUIREMENTS FOR MAXIMUM CREDIT:
1. Must have lots of drawing, rich color, texture, shading, etc. (Majority of space)
2. Collage: In this one instance, you may use PART of Mona List, if you wish. Limit it to no more than 25% of the overall space. Be sure that the collage section does not become the largest, most important part of the composition..
3. Meaningful text....NOT including the words "Mona Lisa"...Check out the website and do some research. Reflect your reading in your journal page. For maximum points, use your meanful text to shade, or fill in spaces in your composition.
4. Recreate Mona Lisa into something out of this world! Give her a fresh new persona, a new costume, a great background and some "wow"!
5. Somewhere on your page, include a window, door, slider, peephole, or popup!
6. Keep in mind the elements and principles of art: Be sure your work has a clear center of attention and is well balanced.
7. Remember that if you are shooting for an "A", your page have a "finished" quality similar to the examples shown...as well as contain all the required elements. It should also reflect research, reading, time spent ....in other words it should be a party on paper! It should LOOK like you put careful thought into your page!!
