Step 1: Use your mouse to find the Epson Scanner icon in the Dock (at the bottom of the monitor). Click it to open the Scanner settings.


Step 2. Choose the MODE dropdown menu and choose the HOME settings (see below left).
Step 3: Choose the appropriate settings (check your project for settings).
Step 4. Click the Preview button. When the preview is complete, check to be sure the image is straight. (If there is a lot of unnecessary space scanned, use your mouse and drag around your scanned art. This will result in a smaller file.
Step 5: After you have Previewed and cropped, click the SCAN button.
Step 6: Find the "File Save Settings" window (below right), type your YLNI and project in the box following the word “Prefix”.
Step 7: In the Image Format section, select your file type: PICT (.pct).
Step 8: Click OK. Your file will be scanned and saved in the PICTURE folder.
STEP 9: To find it, click on the FINDER icon in the lower left of the dock, open the Pictures file and drag your
scan to your Period folder on the desktop.

HOW TO SCAN
Go to the Scanner station in the classroom. Use the "Scanner" account. The password is "Scanner". After you have scanned, drag your file into the appropriate class folder on the desktop, or put it on your flash drive.
