Two Ways To Use a Halftone Dot Pattern

Select an area with a solid color for best results. Use
the magic wand, or draw around the area with another
selection tool.

Next, use the pickup tool to select two colors.
These two colors will determine how your
pattern is colored.

Foreground color (yellow)
Background color (green)

Next, go to FILTERS>Sketch>Halftone Pattern.

Set the Pattern on Dot. Adjust the Size and
Contrast until you have a pleasing result.
Try switching your foreground/background
colors or changing colors.

Also experiment with other pattern
types!

in your Lichtenstein! (Does not have to be in the figure!)

#2 Another Halftone Effect...

For a more multicolored look, you can also try Color Halftone:

FILTERS>PIXELATE>COLOR HALFTONE.

First, set the radius of the pixels (size of dot).

Next, the three Channels correspond to the three color channels in an RGB file....e.,

#1 is Red,

#2 isGreen and

#3 is Blue.
