Please be aware that there will be no after lab time on Mar. 15 or 16 (unless
my meetings are cancelled!)
For maximum credit (200 points) the portfolio must contain all work for first and second nine weeks.
What's due in
the portfolio? (300 points)
(Note:
This is a cumulative portfolio. Each nine weeks, it will increase in value
100 points.)
1. All projects and pages as listed in the yellow box, seen at right.
2. Pages must be in order for full credit.
3. A BCR on each project page that reflects the objective.
4. A screenshot of each project or journal on the appropriate page.
SCANNING INFORMATION FOR JOURNALS:
Scan in color,
at 150 dpi.
If you are scanning at home, or at the library, please use a .jpg file type
if you are using a PC. If you are using a Mac, please use a PICT file type.
HOW TO MAKE A SCREEN SHOT:
Hold the following three keys on your keyboard:
Command/Apple Key + Shift + 3
You will now find a new file on your desktop, called "Picture 1".
Doubleclick the Picture 1 file, and it will open in PREVIEW.
Next, find the SELECT tool at the top of the page, and drag around your artwork. Go to TOOLS>CROP. You can now either copy and paste your cropped artwork directly into your PowerPoint presentation, OR you can save it as a PICT file. Make a folder called "Cropped Images" in your Documents folder to keep them in.
