Who's The Cowboy???

Objective: Combine the two photos, so that the cowboy appears as if he was always in the photo, with the little girl on the pony! To do this, you have to use your best skills! Read thru the directions and then begin.

Step One: Drag both photos to your desktop.

Step Two: Next, launch Photoshop and open both photos (File: Open). Change the MODE to RGB, on both (Image: Mode: RGB). SAVE the girl on the pony as "YLNI cowgirl".

Step Three: Adjust both photos until they are clear and crisp.
Then, use Highlight and Shadow, to adjust the tones and contrast. (Be sure to click on "More Details" at the bottom, if you don't see all of the control panel.)

Step Four: Next, use a new skill! Go to Image>Adjustments>Photo Filter. Choose a Warming Filter and adjust the photos so that they both have the same tone, and look alike.

Step Five: Next, use your skills with the Clone Stamp Tool (rubber stamp) to put the COWBOY on the right, into the photo with the COWGIRL.
Be sure he is on a separate layer, so that you can move him into a position that looks like he was always there! You will need to ROTATE him a bit (Edit> Transform> Rotate).

Step Six: Save your work, and make a screenshot. Put it in your portfolio. Name: "Extra Credit Photoshop Mini Lesson 5C".

Step Seven: NAME THE COWBOY! (Hint: He's one of your teachers here at ERHS!)
